Canon has been a leading supplier in the field of Digital Imaging and information technology since its founding in 1937, catering to both individuals and businesses. Through Canon Business Services, the company focuses on outsourcing activities related to reprographics, printing and document management, as well as automating inbound and outbound information processes such as (digital) mailrooms and creative services. They achieve this by leveraging their own Canon technology.
Canon manages, among others, the mailroom services for the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA). In collaboration with Parzelo, Canon found an efficient and more sustainable solution for handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Partnership Parzelo and Canon
Canon has incorporated Parzelo in their full service mailroom offering to their customers. By implementing us in their package, the customer an benefit from all services, including Parzelo, in one go.
For UvA/HvA Canon worked together with Parzelo to make the receiving, returning, and sending of parcels more efficient. Additionally Parzelo is used with smart lockers at 26 locations to issue IT assets to employees and manage exam documents. Together with the option for employees to receive their private parcels in the lockers safely, these solutions reduced the pressure on the central mailroom.
